On March 9 most of Latin Club members took the National Latin Exam. Of those many students, junior Mark Stone scored a perfect 30, earning himself a Summa Cum Laude. Mark is part of the less than 1 percent of 164,000 students taking the exam to score this. Junior Swetha Kotamraju and sophomore Lucas Chao have also been elected Texas State Junior Classical League secretary and Area F co-coordinators, and on May 8 Lucas will also be meeting in Dallas with the rest of the coordinators to plan t...

As the year comes to a close, the Crochet Club is winding down and planning for next year's opportunities of expansion. This year the club has made shirts, created posters and hosted a small winter holiday party for the members. This week, the “New-News,” incoming Hyline members, are participating in New-New Week, the time set aside to inaugurate them into the team. They take their sport very seriously.
